Below are our seven steps of finding your business keyword phrases. This is the general guide on how and what we do to determine your businesses superstar keywords. Depending on your business we will come up with 15 to 250. Obviously, the more keyword phrases we concentrate on the longer the process.
Step One: Fine Your Phrase Root
Create a list of your root keywords phrases. This will be a list of all the words that describe your product. For example if you work for a that sells writing instruments, your root keyword phrases would start like “pens, pencils”
Step Two: Create A Tree

Step Three: Checking Out Your Competitors
We typically have already asked you about your competitors, but we will get some ideas from analyzing web code and searches.
Step Four: Analyzing Existing Traffic

We focus on keywords that are going to be folks ready to buy your product, not people that are researching or “kicking the tires” In this case: “pen store”, “buying 2h pencils” could be keyword phrases that would generate sales. Typically the more specific the phrase the better off the keyword phrase is.
Step Seven: Measure the Traffic and Quality
Using our SEO tools we will be able to discover the competition and search volume. We will look for the lowest competition and higher search volume. This typically is the “lowest hanging fruit”
